Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Join the founding AI team at Arist, the leading AI enablement platform used by teams at Novartis, HP, and Intuit. You'll work closely with cofounders and another founding engineer to build real, production-grade AI.

What you'll build:

• Agent experiences using LLMs for conversation and task execution
• Customization layers for org-specific behavior
• A voice-based learning agent
• Evaluation pipelines to monitor/improve task quality
• Multi-agent orchestration and infra decisions

We're looking for someone who:

• Has strong backend skills + product intuition
• Has built scalable systems with external LLMs
• Moves fast, thrives in ambiguity, and loves startups
• Can work in Rails or pick it up quickly
